The Perfect Vehicle Control Switches

Image
https://shp.ee/c9h7uqs This is for a motorcycle. It can be used for a bicycle also. It has the Dip / Beam, Left/Right/Centre, and horn push button. What may appear missing is the flash beam but it is not necessary. Just switch on the beam light for a short while. Other lights can be placed somewhere else. These are the essential switches that we need most frequently. All of them can be accessed by a thumb. This is faster and more convenient compared to stalks. Stalks require a few fingers to turn the stalk and the fingers have to move from the steering wheel. It should take some time. It will be better if switches are placed on the steering wheel. Better still, why not replace the steering wheel with a handlebar? A handlebar can only turn 90 degrees.  A yoke, 180 degrees and become awkward if used for 720 degree turns of normal wheels. Why should we need more than 90 degrees to control a vehicle? Why need to turn at all? Fighter jets use controls that do not move at all. Steeri

Candela vs Lux vs Lumens

https://www.ledyilighting.com/candela-vs-lux-vs-lumens/ Candela vs Lux vs Lumens Home Blog Candela vs Lux vs Lumens By  Martin Wan Updated:  October 25, 2022 People measure lights using different units like Candela, Lux, and Lumens. Have you ever thought about evaluating lights applying any of these units?  You may get into trouble doing so because the light measuring units Candela, Lux, and Lumens often interchange. So I decided to save you from this confusion by bringing up their differences. The units Candela, Lux, and Lumens measure the intensity of light. Lux refers to the quantity of light that reaches an object. And Lumens and Candela are the metrics used to check the amount of light emission. Yet, these three terms are often misused while determining the light’s brightness. That is why you should know what they mean and what factors separate the units from each other.  Let’s dive into the discussion to know further. COB LED vs. SMD LED: Which One Shines Brighter?

#News https://thelightingoutlet.com.au/blogs/news/cob-led-vs-smd-led-which-one-shines-brighter COB LED vs. SMD LED: Which One Shines Brighter? February 11, 2020 MItchell Elworthy You love your LED lights, as they have long lifespans and are more efficient than your old-school fluorescent bulbs. Plus, these bulbs are safer and feature lower maintenance costs. However, not all  LED lights  are alike. The reality is, there are two kinds of LED downlights: the chip on board, or COB, LED and the surface mount diode, or SMD, LED. Both of these downlight options generate light that is quality. And you can expect both to last a long time and remain highly efficient. However, they also offer unique advantages. Here's a glimpse at what makes the COB LED and SMD LED different, and which one may work best for your home or business. Let's get started! COB LED A COB LED light features one mounted LED chip. Because all of the light's LEDs are concentrated in a single area, more cooling ca

Lighting Circuit (Automobile)

what-when-how In Depth Tutorials and Information https://what-when-how.com/automobile/lighting-circuit-automobile/ Lighting Circuit (Automobile) 29.2. Lighting Circuit Statutory regulations specify the number, position and specification of many of the external lights fitted to a vehicle. In addition to the obligatory lights, manufacturers and owners of the vehicle often install other supplementary lights to meet other requirements. Various lamps are grouped in separate circuits, which include the following : (i) Side and rear lamps including lamps for the number plate, glove compartment and instrument panel illumination. (ii) Main driving lamps (headlamps) incorporating a dipped facility to prevent approaching drivers being dazzled. (Hi) Rear fog lamp(s) to guard the rear of the vehicle in conditions of poor visibility. (iv) Auxiliary driving lamps including spot lamps for distance illumination and fog lamps to reduce the reflected glare from fog. (v) Reversing lamps to illuminate the

E Mark & What it Means

https://www.truckelectrics.com/blogs/news/e-mark-what-it-means-is-e1-the-best E Mark & What it Means.. Is E1 the Best? Ciaran O Neill Oct 19, 2016 Is an E1 bulb better than an E4 or E14? Although ALL "E" markings are legal it is recognised the German "E1" mark is of the highest standards and is more rigorously enforced. They take their standards from the OE (Original Equipment) manufacturers hence the term OE Equivalent quality. To avoid any misunderstanding, the term ‘E’ approved is the European requirement for lights on vehicles to conform to performance standards. This number showing the Approval country and manufacturer is then marked on the product. (E Marked) Germany monitors very carefully, the use of their approval (E1). This is done through the KBA (Kraftfahrt-Bundesamt) Federal Motor Transport Authority, who both authorise and audit the products and test facilities of those permitted to use E1. Any bulb ranges offering E1 type bulbs has approval due to
