World Solar Challenge Prizes
With such an expensive fee, it is not suprising that only rich nations can participate. What prizes do the competitors get?

Winning the event is not just a matter of technology but of reliability and organisation. We should salute all the previous participants.

With a maximum of only 5 sq. meters of solar panels allowed, it is a disadvantage to the Transparent Car that is capable of using as much as 6 sq. meters of solar panel easily.

The regulation this time is more interesting for the cruise class. Stability is an important aspect this time but it will affect the aerodynamic drag.

These are the prizes:


4.6.3 The winner of the Challenger Class will receive the Challenger Cup; the winner of the Cruiser Class will receive the Cruiser Cup.

.6.4 Additional awards may be presented.

 4.6.5 The event organiser reserves the right not to present an award in any given category.

 4.6.6 Each team will receive a participation award.
