Tesla Production Technologies 2023

Scott is good in production but Sandy is better. Tesla is not really that innovative but they learn fast and admit their mistakes. They are not afraid to copy others. Even toys. I am more an electronic engineer specialising in computer and telecommunications, with knowledge on silicon fabrication. As far as I am concerned, Tesla has not gone to the state of the art in electronics. Its infotainment is behind ps5. Its hardware computer is behind M1 chipsets and Mac books. It's motors behind Lucid but Tesla copies quickly. Cybertruck copies toys, bodyshells. It inspired me to design a big car using plastics. As mentioned by Scott, plastics do not need painting. I agree completely. For the minority, they can always wrap their cars. Painting is only for corrosion but not if we use aluminium and stainless steel.

Young people should push technologies to the limits and go to first principles. Actually not that easy, even those in Tesla, even Elon are not pushing the limits, probably because of not enough sleep or just information overload.

Young people, especially hobbyists, should not be afraid to upgrade their technologies. I started designing plastic cars when I saw the Arduino cars. Coupled them with transparent body shells, they are perfect. When I did detailed design, I noticed that it is better to use boxes inside the body shells. I am ahead of Tesla, but as mentioned by Scott, the Korean ship builders invented it.

When checking my first principles with ChatGPt, it got it completely wrong. It shows to me the current biases of body of knowledge. This channel is excellent in reviewing this body of knowledge. Sandy as well.
