Bicycle Shifter and Brake for Electric Velomobile


I bought this 3,X7 Brake and Shift lever. I noticed that it is good to attach to a 4 motor Velomobile.

The brake levers are useful for the front brakes. Can be used as differential steering also.

The rear brakes can be attached to the gear shifter. Because the shifter locks the cable, before being released by the index lever, they are useful also as parking brakes.

Dedicated shifters can be used to open ventilation windows but need hinges that have springs.

The rear motors can use foot pedals to move both motors at the same time by paralleling the control wires. The front motors can be controlled by left and right thumb throttle controllers. I only bought right thumb controllers at the moment because they are the cheapest.

Best Free CFD Tutorial: FreeCAD Openfoam CFD Workbench

I find watching this video boring but the links are userful and the linked tutorial very helpful.
