Cardboard Fibre Glass is Very Strong

I didn't realise that a cardboard can be very rigid when laced with fibre glass. It creates a hollow bar which is stronger by up to 100% compared to solid sheets. Imagine using it with carbon fibre.

The cardboard in the body shell was removed and they need to be cello taped. Not necessary to be so rigid because of the twisted steel bars. If they had used this hollow fibre technique they will need fewer bars. Nicer inside. Should be lighter also. But may require more time. However welding requires more skill. If weight and aesthetics are maximised, cardboards are the way to go.
